I've been a longtime admirer of Ian McQue’s work.
A little over a year ago, with Ian’s kind permission, I decided to bring one of his creations into 3D. This piece is a personal interpretation, an homage, rooted in the spirit of his world but shaped by my own creative choices.
I was responsible for all aspects of the project: modeling, texturing, lookdev, and rendering.
I'm deeply grateful to Ian for allowing me to explore his universe through this 3D tribute.
Software used : Maya and Substance Painter, Photoshop for the compositing.
